Hi! I’m Rachel.

I am a Portland, Oregon based abstract painter, illustrator, and author! I have a little art studio in my backyard where I make magic happen. I have three chickens and a three year old to keep me very busy throughout the week. I studied art and got my teaching credential and love to share how art can be accessed by anyone, anywhere. I’ve authored and illustrated three coloring books and two art instructional how-to books. My biggest inspiration is nature and the beauty in textures and colors I can glean from it.
